Prof. Jiansheng Qu holds a Ph.D. in Geography and Environment Change from Lanzhou University. He is employed by the Lanzhou Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences, a policy research body on Resources and Environment. He heads Environmental/Ecological Strategic Research team of the organization and focuses on the scientific topics of effects of climate change on the populations, household carbon emission, regional carbon reduction policy.
